Monica Lickso

Monica Licsko of Roswell, Georgia, was born on December 27, 1972 in Andalusia, Alabama, and passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends on June 16, 2018. Monica was a member at Mount Pisgah UMC where she volunteered with Children’s Ministry.

Monica was a teacher for 21 years in Dekalb County Schools. She had a B.S. from Auburn University, Masters from Troy University and Education Specialist Degree from the University of West Georgia. Monica was ‘Teacher of the Year’ for two different schools in Dekalb County.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 11 years, Jamie Licsko; loving daughters, Brooke (9) and Aubree (7) Licsko; parents Jackie and Hilda Hall; mother-in-law Pat Licsko; and grandmother, Sybel Bennett.

The memorial service will be at Mount Pisgah UMC, 2850 Old Alabama Road, Johns Creek, GA. Visitation will begin June 24, 2018 at 1:00 pm ET with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm ET. Interment will immediately follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, 950 Mansell Rd. Roswell, GA. 30076.
