Jason Jones with WOD for Water said that the money raised will be able to do much to provide water.

“We will be able to fund 17 wells in India, two wells in Cambodia, two wells in South Sudan, four rain water tanks in Cambodia and several filters in South Sudan,” Jones said.

Jones said many people ask him how many people will benefit, but he said that it is impossible to count those numbers.

“The number is exponential,” Jones said. “Generations will be changed, and most importantly they will hear the Gospel for the first time.”

Jones said good weather helped the event, and the WOD for Water team is already working toward next year’s $100,000 goal.

“It starts now,” Jones said.

Anyone can make a donation, or get someone from the WOD for Water team to speak at an event or to a group. Anyone can contact Jones for more information. Donations are accepted year round.
