Mrs. Dorothy Downing Lott, age 79 of Jack Alabama passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the Hartford Nursing Home. Visitation for Mrs. Dorothy Downing Lott will be held, Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home in Brundidge from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral Services for Dorothy Downing Lott will be held, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at the New Hope Baptist Church with the Reverend Laney Shepard officiating. Burial will follow in the Roten Cemetery in Roten.

Survivors include her two daughters, Cheryl (Kenith) Jinright of Jack, and Shirley (Keith) Flowers of Andalusia; her four sons, Steve (Julie) Downing, Frankie Downing, Jimmy (Stephanie) Downing, and Jamie (Billie) Downing; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Downing.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Warren Downing and Preston Lott, a sister Nell Downing and 2 grandchildren.
