Mary Ella Miles Turner, age 77, a resident of Troy, died Monday, September 29, 2014.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Keith Reynolds and Minister BobbyTemplin officiating.  Interment will follow in Springhill Cemeterywith Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her daughter Mary Joann Rouse; grandson, Charles Christopher Rouse and wife Meghan; Granddaughter Alicia A. Garner and husband Cole; Granddaughter Robin L. Rouse Oakes and husband Tyler; 1 great-grandson, Gray Knight Garner; a brother Douglas Miles, a brother and sister-in-law, James and Willie Mae Turner, Sister-in-law Glenda and Steve Varga; brother-in-law, Joe Turner; sisters-in-law, Jean Miles, Betty Miles and Iris Miles and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Claude Turner; son, William Claude Turner, Jr.; parents, Grover Hollis and Josie Miles; and son-in-law Charles F. Rouse.

Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Knotts, Tyler Oakes, Cole Garner, Randy Miles, David Miles, Kenneth Miles and the Colley Senior Center Quilters.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Colley Senior Center.
