Mrs. Betty Keith Jones Allen of Bruce St., Troy, AL. passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Troy Regional Medical Center. She was 76. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at God’s Way Baptist Church with Pastor Craig Holmes and Pastor Chad Teal officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. The family will also receive friends Wednesday thirty minutes prior to the service at the church. She was born October 18, 1937 in Pike County, AL. to the late Herman Jones and Myrtle R. Blair Jones. She dearly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and the Braves ball games. She was a long time and faithful member of God’s Way Baptist Church. She is survived by a son: Keith Allen (Debbie Kay), Andalusia; a daughter: Debbie Lynn Allen Headley (Gerry), Troy; and daughter: the late Donna Sue Allen Jordan; grandchildren: Will and April Headley, Brittany Farmer (J.J), Tiffany Stephens (Matt), Randi Bozeman (Micheal); Nick Allen, Whitney Sanders (Justin), Mary Elizabeth Hall (Christopher), and Ansley Jordan; great grandchildren: Carson Whatley, Addie Farmer, Lucas and Emmett Stephens, and Raelynn Hall; an aunt: Erma Blair; a lifelong friend: Ruth Waters; and several cousins who were like brothers and sisters to her. Serving as pallbearers will be Will Headley, Nick Allen, Micheal Bozeman, Matt Stephens, J. J. Farmer, Justin Sanders and Christopher Hall.
