Larry Burnell (L.B.) Harris, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away at his home Friday, May 16, 2014 after an extended illness.  Larry is survived by his wife of 30 years, Joyce Lillian Lawrence Harris; two paternal children, Tammy Harris of Defuniak Springs, FL, Penny Hunt (Lee) of Troy, AL; three step children, Jane Chandler (Carey) of Wetumpka, Dean Briggs of Montgomery, Anne Sipper (Curtis) of Montgomery; one paternal grandchild, Heather Hunt of Troy and seven step grandchildren, Joey Briggs of Paris, Texas, Rachel Hunt of Wetumpka, AL, Macon Chandler of Montgomery, Brian Stanford of Montgomery, Brittany Wenzelow of Montgomery, Zac Chandler of Montgomery, Samantha Sipper of Montgomery.  Larry enjoyed five step great grandchildren, Addison, Reagan, Will, Mason and Jude, all of Montgomery.  Larry was preceded in death by his parents Gafford and Sybil Harris of Troy, AL.  Harris served the CSX Railway twenty seven years before retiring.  Larry served his country admirably in the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1979.  A graveside service will be held celebrating the life of Larry B. Harris at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Troy, AL at 2:00p.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2014.
