Jerry Ray Griswold of Brundidge, AL. passed away Monday, December 16, 2013 at his residence. He was 63. He was a wonderful, loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be sorely missed by all. Funeral services for Jerry Ray Griswold will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Calvin Faircloth and Rev. Jim Powell officiating. Interment will be in Haw Hill Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service. He was born July 1, 1950 in Troy, AL. to the late Raif Griswold and Inez Daughtry Griswold. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, James Griswold and a special grandmother, Elma Daughtry. He is survived by his wife: Linda Griswold, Brundidge, AL; children: Jeremy (Amanda) Griswold, Geneva, AL; Jody Griswold, Troy, AL; Alan (Greer) Hallmark, Cookeville, TN; and Jenny (Scott) Martin, Wetumpka, AL; brother: Donald Griswold, Enterprise, AL; sisters: Margene Kelley, Troy, AL; Linda Reeves, Brundidge, AL; and Audrey Simmons, New Brockton, AL; and 9 grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Jody Griswold, Chris Reeves, Freddie Turner, Larry Senn, Atlas Green and Doug Wallace.
