Ruby Virginia Parker Jones went to be with The Lord on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at her home in Old Hickory, TN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Jones. She is survived by her sister, Jean Dayton, 4 children, Janice Hayes (Will-Buck), Dale Carnes (John), Thomas E. Jones, Jr. (Jean)’ Kathy Madison (Marty), 9 grandchildren, Glenn Hayes (Heidi), Kim Hayes, Brian Hayes (Ginger), Dana Denton (Gary), Scott Carnes (Mylissa), Thomas E. Jones, III (Betsy), Sherry Barry (Brent), Brooks Madison (Robin), Julia Carver (Matthew), 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Visitation will take place at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Friday, October 4 from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 5 at 2 pm at Goshen Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Goshen Baptist.
