The crash killed Willie Early Taylor, 54. Finney and two other passengers were taken to Troy Regional Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to Alabama State Troopers.

The report noted that evidence at the scene showed Finney was “well in excess of the posted speed limit. Also, there was a strong odor of alcohol omitting from the driver.”

The report also stated the crash happened in a school zone while parents and students were close to the crash.
