Mrs. Joanner O. Davenport of Troy passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Troy Regional Medical Center in Troy. She was 78. Funeral services for Mrs. Davenport will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Chapel in Troy with Rev. Kevin Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Starling Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Davenport was born March 15, 1935 in Alabama to the late Coy Odom and Fannie Mae Hodge Odom. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: D. L. Davenport: son, Randall Davenport, brother: Omer Gunter, sister: Erma Jean Daniels, and son-in-law: Harvey Lee. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Betty Jo (Bryant) Davis and Shirley Lee, all of Troy; grandsons: Tracy Lee, Christopher LeCroy, Jason LeCroy, Josh Lee and Brandon Davis, granddaughter: Teri Lee, and a great granddaughter: Katylynn Lee. Serving as active pallbearers will be Louise Glen Davenport, James Harrelson, Drexel Wayne Hughes, Hubert LeCroy, Ben English and Brandon Davis.
