Three arrested for stealing ice cream, toilet paper

New Year’s Day burglars in Troy kicked in the back door of a home to steal items not usually taken during a break-in – french fries, ice cream and toilet paper.

According to Troy Police, Umekia Fuller, 22, Xavius Fuller, 23, and Cornelius Moore, 27, caused damage to a home on Mobley Drive when they broke glass and kicked in the back door close to 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The three are charged with burglary and criminal mischief, according to Troy Police Sgt. Benny Scarbrough.

Police recovered the property in a vehicle occupied by the suspects. Xavius Fuller was also charged with possession of marijuana.

The three were transferred to the Pike County Jail.
