Zoe Shelton Post, age 12, died Monday, December 17, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. David McVay officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, December 21, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Zoe was in the Beginning Band at Charles Henderson Middle School. She enjoyed playing softball and soccer and was a member of the youth group at First United Methodist Church. She was an avid nature lover, music lover and a loving daughter and sister.

She is survived by her father, David Post; mother, Bindi Post; brothers, Josh Weeks of Monroeville, AL; Dustin Weeks of Eufaula, AL; sisters, Yvonne Post of Troy, Lauren Post of Troy; grandparents, Grady and Martha Post; Keith and Pam Welstand of Lincolnshire, England; uncles, Wiley Post (Donna); Neill Renwick (Angela) of Marietta, GA; niece, Lilly Grace Weeks; nephews, Landon Tatum Weeks and Lucas Trosclair.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Zoe to the First United Methodist Church.
