Ricky W. Taylor

Mr. Ricky W. Taylor of Troy died at his residence Sunday, January 30, 2011. He was 49. Funeral services for Ricky W. Taylor will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February l, 2011 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Curtis Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery, Shady Grove in Crenshaw County with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation was held Monday, January 3l, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February l, 2011 from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service.

He was born April 4, 196l in Niles, Michigan, the son of the late Junior Edward and Betty Maxine Stoner Taylor. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Martha Jean Taylor.

He was a loving father and husband. He is survived by his wife, Janice Taylor;, daughter, Heaven Nicole Taylor; a son, William Horace Taylor; two grandchildren, Ricky Lloyd Taylor and William Blake Taylor all of Troy; four brothers; three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
