Mrs. Aretta M. Allen Senn age 90 of Springhill died Monday, October 25, 2010 in a Birmingham hospital.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the Union Springs Primitive Baptist Church with Brothers Ernest Brooks and Hollis Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. There will also be a 30 minute lie-in-state at the church prior to the service.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Loretta and Donnie Daniels of Springhill, Deborah and Ellis Sessions of Springhill, her sons and daughters-in-law Preston and Mary Helen Senn of Springhill, Murray and Judy Senn of Talladega, Lloyd Senn of Springhill, Jerl and Susie Senn of Springhill, Allen and Debra Senn of Talladega, Dwight and Sue Senn of Luverne, 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, several great great grandchild, sisters-in-law Dessie Spinks and Martha Senn.

Proceeded in death by her husband Jessie Curtis Senn, daughters-in-law Marie Senn and Linda Senn, grandsons Toby Ray Senn and Clint Jackson, her parents Y.J. and Vicki Layton, and several brothers and sisters.
