Despite the tough loss, head coach Jennier Sikes said she saw a team giving it all it had on the court.

““i was really impressed with how the girls played (Tuesday),” she said.

“I think we have really stepped it up recently. A lot of girls are getting the opportunity to play and they are doing a great job.

“We battled back and fourth and even though we came up short we are still make progress,” the coach added.

One of those players is Madison Carpenter, who is the team’s libero.

“She has done one heck of a job for us,” Sikes said.

Other players the coach said were playing well were Mikensy Darby, Victoria Outlaw and Olivia Hudson.

“A lot of our younger girls are playing well right now, and it’s showing,” Sikes said.

The Trojans will be back in action on Monday as it travels to Goshen.
