Helen J. Knight, age 80, of Troy, Alabama, passed away July 31, 2010.
Funeral services for Mrs. Knight will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2010, a 11 a.m. in the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Dr. Mallone Chandler officiating. Graveside services to follow at Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery, Troy, Alabama. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 3, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Mrs. Knight is survived by her husband Thomas Gower; one son Donald Knight of Summerville, South Carolina; brothers Byron Jones of Brundidge and Ronnie Jones of Troy; sisters Betty Carlisle of Selma and Janice Brock of Troy; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mrs. Knight is preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Jones and Bill Jones.
