Virgil Jordan Jr.

Virgil I. “Buck” Jordan, Jr., 72, a resident of Titus and formerly of Lowndesboro passed away Friday, August 27, 2010. In accordance with his wishes, his body was donated to medical science for service to others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Evie Lee (Messick) Jordan and siblings, Ocie “Max” Jordan, Robbie Sessions and Elvin “Peewee” Jordan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Martha Crawford Jordan; three daughters, LaDora (John) Gindle of Titus, Barbara (William) Hudson of Mary Esther, Florida and Myra (Paul) Utter of Titus; six grandchildren, Andrew Hudson, Jennifer Hudson, Nicholas Utter, J.B. Gindle, LaTisha Shaner and Casey Shaner; siblings, Rex (Barbara) Jordan of Harlingen, Texas, Phyllis (Cal) Rollins of Troy; Walter “Pete” (Debbie) Jordan of Troy and sister-in-law, Sue Jordan of Banks and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. September 18, 2010 at Ellison Funeral Home in Wetumpka. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for the Wetumpka High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) to purchase equipment/tools to aid the students.
