“I was very pleased with the way the swimmers performed – all the swimmers swam best times and some dropped more than a minute off their seed time.”

In the Free Relay, Snellgrove, Lakin Turner, Frauke Lieb and Jordan placed 18th with a time of 2:25.50 while in the Medley Relay, the girls placed 17th, with a time of 3:04.34.

The 8 and under girls swam the Free Relay as well.

Together, Mary Stoltze, Peyton Sasser, Raegan Brown and Redmon finished in 22nd place with a time of 2:09.28.

“We weren’t the biggest team there but, I thought we did a great job of representing Troy and the Parks and Recreation department,” Tatum said.

“I have to say this year’s team was the best bunch of swimmers that I have coached in my 16 years of coaching Parks and Recreation swim teams.

“It was an honor,” the coach added.

The Tiger Sharks will a little over a two-week break before they get back into the pool, preparing for the Winter season.
