Mrs. Erma Jean Smith, age 76, of Brundidge passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. Visitation for Mrs. Smith was Monday, September 15, 2008 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home in Brundidge. The funeral for Mrs. Smith will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Dorcas Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Marler officiating. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith is survived by 2 sisters, Elizabeth Garrett of Banks and Edna Weber of Jack; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Ethel Smith of Goshen; several nieces, nephews and other close relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Smith; parents, Eugene and Zuline Smith; brothers, James B, Emmitt and Thomas Smith.
Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge will be directing the services.
