Howard “Fox” Hallford, age 91 died Saturday, October 24, 2009. Graveside services will be held Monday, October 26, 2009 at 3:00 pm in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Shirlie Ellis officiating and Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Visitation will be held Monday, October 26, 2009 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church.
Mr. Hallford is survived by Nieces: Jan Sullivan and husband Robin of Troy, Blanchie Ellis and husband Leander of Brundidge, Becky Oliver of Dothan, Norma Garrett and husband Douglas of Banks and Brenda Hallford of San Antonio, TX; Nephews: Donnie Hallford and wife Sue of Troy, Perry Hallford and wife Keryl of Las Vegas, NV, Boyd Hallford and wife Ann of Phenix City and Brooks Hallford and wife Carolyn of Phenix City.
Mr. Hallford was preceded in death by his parents: Burl and Lillia Hallford; 2 brothers: Hubert and Dorothiene Hallford and Horace and Gladys Hallford; 1 sister: Mary Lou Hallford and 1 nephew Jimmy Hallford.
Pallbearers will be Wes Davenport, William Davenport, Hubie Garrett, Howard Oliver, Russell Oliver and Donald White. Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Ellis.
