Helen Lucille Jennings
Helen Lucille Jennings, age 88, of Brundidge, Alabama went to be with our Lord, on November 6, 2009. She would have been 89 on February 11. She had been ill for many weeks.
Visitation for Mrs. Jennings will be Monday, November 9, 2009 between 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. at Mount Olive Assembly of God Church located on Alabama Highway 125 Brundidge, Alabama.
Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Olive Assembly of God with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiating will be Reverends Ara Allen, Kenny Horn and Ashley Faulk.
Mrs. Jennings leaves behind her sister Ina Mae Jennings and brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Rose Weldy, all of Frankfort, Mo., her daughters, Nellie ad Earl Snodgrass and Brenda and Brett Summers both of Brundidge, Ala., Shirley and Jerry Nave of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Pam and Sam Gibbs of Punta Gorda, Fla. and daughter-in-law Glenna Johnson of Jack, Ala.
Grandchildren: Rhonda and Bill Firestine, Lisa and Bill Meacham, Mark and Tammy Snodgrass, Voni Nave, Amanda and Danny Frost, Susan Nave, Kim and David Firestine, Mathew and Andrew Gibbs and Dustin Summers.
Great Grandchildren: Ben and Alexandria Meacham, John Firestine, Jake and Alexis Meacham, Denver Crumpton, Chris Crumpton, Heather Garland, Sarah Meacham, Micaelin Firestine, Ryann Firestine, Aleksandr Firestine, Sammy Gibbs, Kyle Gibbs, Ryan Gibbs and Anthony, Kelsi and Kara James and Patrick Wellington.
Great-great-grandchildren: Jayden Crumpton and Autumn Meacham,
Along with many dearly loved friends near and far, Mrs. Jennings was loved by all who knew her and extended her generous wealth of love to all.
Mrs. Jennings was preceded in death by her parents, Osie and Eldena Weldy of Frankfort, Mo., her husband, Denver Jennings of Brundidge, Ala., her son, John Jennings of Punta Gorda, Fla. and her sister Alta Kirkland of Frankfort, Mo.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge, Ala.
