Ora Rogers

Mrs. Ora Elizabeth Rogers passed away Saturday, February 27, 2009 at Dale Medical Center. She was 90 .Funeral services will be held at 10: 00 A. M., Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Aman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held Monday, March 1, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Mrs. Rogers was born November 6, 1919 to the late Clovis Dennis and Ora Edith Roddy in Pendleton, Oregon. At the age of two her and her family moved to Arkansas where her father was from. She lived in Melbourne, Arkansas until she graduated from high school. She then moved to Arizona where she met her husband, Harry Rogers, which he was in the Airforce. They then moved to Tennessee where Harry was from. Mrs. Rogers is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry Rogers; two brothers, John Roddy and Sam Roddy.
She is survived by her sons, David Wayne Rogers (Debbie) of Ozark and Dennis Earl Rogers (Claudette) of Troy; four grandsons, Josh, Jared, Nathan and Daniel Rogers, also other numerous family members.
