Pike’s Luke Barron selected as AHSAA North-South Baseball All-Star

Pike Liberal Arts School junior Luke Barron was selected to play in this summer’s upcoming 28th Annual AHSAA North-South All-Star Baseball Game in Montgomery.

Barron is coming off a junior campaign that saw him star in the infield and at pitcher for the Patriots. As a pitcher, he pitched 39 innings and led PLAS with 59 strikeouts, while boasting a 2.154 ERA and a 6-0 record as a starter. As an infielder, Barron held a .879 fielding percentage with 48 putouts.

As a hitter, Barron earned a .475 batting average with a .532 on-base percentage, one home run, one triple, six doubles, 30 RBIs, 22 runs and four stolen bases. Barron earned All-Messenger honors as a sophomore in 2023.
