Pike Lib Golf takes first place at Sub-State

The Pike Liberal Arts boys’ golf team took first place at the Class 1A/2A South Sub-State Tournament in Greenville on Tuesday, advancing to the State Golf Tournament.

Pike Lib finished in first place with a score of 325 just ahead of runner-up Elba’s 327. Both Pike and Elba will advance to the State Tournament. For Pike, Braden Prestwood shot a 78, while Jackson Cleveland shot 82, Sawyer Keck shot 83, Ford Hussey shot 83 and Bryant Swindall shot a score of 94.

Pike Lib and Elba finished ahead of Bayshore Christian, Altamont, Wicksburg, Tuscaloosa Academy, Holy Spirit and Locust Fork at the tournament.
