April is Donate Life Month, and Troy Regional Medical Center recognized the importance of donor donations with a flag raising ceremony in front of Troy Regional on Monday.

Rick Smith, hospital CEO, said TRMC is joining other hospitals across Alabama that will fly Donate Life flags as part of their National Donate Life Month activities. The Donate Life flag serves as a display of unity, remembrance and hope. The flat is a symbol to honor heroic organ, eye and tissue donors.

“Save lives, Say yes,” is the message the employees of Troy Regional Medical center want to convey during the raising and flying of the “Donate Life flag” during the month of April National Donate Life month.
