The Miss and Little Miss Brundidge Pageant was held Saturday night at Pike County High School.

The pageant is sponsored annually by the Brundidge Business Association with Laterah Baxter as the pageant director.

“We were very pleased with community interest in the pageant and the number of young ladies who participated,” Baxter said. “We had more than 30 young ladies who competed to hold one of the Brundidge titles ages up to 19.

The theme for the pageant was “Disco” so it was a fun day of Dancing Queens, Baxter said.

The pageant winners are: Baby Miss Edan Marie Peters, Tiny Miss Veda Fajardo, Future Little Miss Karleigh Boykin, Petite Miss, Harper Collins Hall, Junior Miss, Charlie Claire Prawius, Pre-Teen Miss Julianna Knight, Teen Miss Allie Brooke Booth, Little Miss Olivia Kelly and Miss Sameeria Issac.

The Miss Brundidge is a preliminary pageant for the National Peanut Festival Pageant in October in Dothan.

Baxter thanked the parents who supported their child as a part of the pageant.

“We would also like to thank our sponsors, Crowe’s, Brundidge Florist, Beth Milton Photography, South Alabama Electric Cooperative and the Troy United Women’s League for their generous contributions.
