For the first time in program history, the Troy Trojans women’s basketball team are getting set to play a second game in a postseason tournament this Friday, March 29, against North Carolina A&T in the WNIT Sweet 16.

North Carolina A&T started the tournament off with a 56-51 win over UNC-Greensboro in the first round and then outlasted the Sun Belt’s Old Dominion in the second round by a score of 48-45.
