The Troy Trojans headed to Madeira Beach, Fla., this weekend and went 4-1 in the annual Spring Tournament, which will be Troy’s final regular season tournament action.

The Trojans started the weekend off with a resounding 6-0 loss to Chattanooga on Friday. The Trojans managed just four hits on the day as a team. Libby Baker took the loss in the circle, striking out a pair of batters, while giving up four hits and four earned runs.

That was the last time the Trojans would feel defeat on the weekend, however, as Troy reeled off four straight wins over two days. After scoring no runs in game one, the Trojans managed to outscore their opponents by a combined 50-8.
