The Tupper Lightfoot Memorial Library in Brundidge celebrated Dr. Seuss 120th birthday on March 2. The birthday party was one of several celebration activities enjoyed throughout the week. Kids were invited to dress as their favorite Dr. Seuss character and read, read, read in recognition of and appreciation for Dr. Seuss. The library’s activities were also in support of National Read Across America event that is designed to encourage youngsters to read more and parents to set examples for their children by reading themselves.
