The Troy Trojans baseball and softball programs will hold the annual Fan Day event on Saturday, Jan. 27, at Trojan Arena.

Troy fans will get he chance to receive a free poster for baseball and softball at the event and between Troy women’s and men’s basketball games that night can have the posters signed by the Trojan players.

“Fan day is a great time to get up close and personal with our players, while also getting memorabilia and schedules signed,” head baseball coach Skylar Meade said. “Can’t wait to see everyone on Jan. 27 in Trojan Arena as hoops battles the Jaguars and Red Wolves.”

There will also be a special open tailgate for all friends ahead of the basketball games that starts one hour before the women’s basketball game.

During halftime of both basketball games the baseball and softball teams will be recognized at mid-court and the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive free cardinal T-shirts and the first 1,000 fans will get free shakers.

“Fan day is a special event for Troy softball / baseball and we love being able to interact with the fans,” head softball coach Eric Newell said. “We would love to see Trojan nation show up to support our team(s) and then watch basketball beat South and Arkansas State all in one day. It truly doesn’t get any better than that.”

Troy women’s basketball plays Arkansas State at 2 p.m. and the men’s team plays South Alabama at 4 p.m.
