The Vita Tax Program is offering free tax preparation January 29 through March 28, at the Pile County Extension Office at 306 South Three Notch Street in Troy.

Abby Peters, Pike County Extension coordinator, said the VITA Tax Program is those making $60,00 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.
