Joy Organics has released information showing the 150 most popular destinations for those trying to escape the rat race.

Alabama has three places listed among the 150 most popular destination for those trying to escape the rat race.

Tuscumbia, the birthplace of Hellen Keller, is listed number 52 of 150 places looking to escape the rat race.

According to the survey, the charming town boasts historical sites, delightful local eateries and a warm community spirit. The relaxed environment, coupled with the town’s deep-rooted history, makes Tuscumbia an ideal option for those seeking tranquility.

Montevallo is listed number 99 by the survey. Home to the University of Montevallo.

This town exudes a youthful energy amidst historic architecture, the survey stated. The city’s focus on arts and education, along with its lush parks and trails, offers a refreshing blend of intellectual stimulation and natural beauty.

At number 108 on the survey, Monroeville is known as the “Literary Capital of Alabama.” Monroeville exudes small-town charm, steeped in rich history and Southern hospitality.

“Monroeville is, famously, the hometown of Harper Lee, author of ‘To Kill a Mockingbird,” and offers a tranquil environment where one can enjoy the simpler aspects of life,” Smith said.
