Gerad Parker and the Troy Trojans football staff have been hard at work recruiting the transfer portal and landed another commitment from a Power 5 program when Kansas State linebacker Jordan Perry committed to Troy.
Perry is a 6-foot-2-inch, 197-pound Jefferson, Ga., native, that was considered one of the top athletes in Georgia coming out of high school. He was rated as the No. 81 overall athlete in the country by 247Sports after earning All-District honors with 86 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss, five interceptions and six pass breakups at Jefferson High School. Perry rushed for more than 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns during his high school career, as well.
Perry started his college career at Kansas State, playing linebacker. After redshirting in 2022, Perry played in two games this past season and netted one tackle. Perry will come to Troy as a safety with three years of eligibility left.
