Pike County Sheriff’s Russell Thomas released a press statement on Tuesday, Jan. 2, announcing the arrest of Ricky Faulkner on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.

According to a statement from Thomas, Faulkner, aged 54 of Troy, was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault for crimes against a female who was 14 years of age at the time of the first offense and 15 at the time of the second count. Bond has been set for Faulkner at $100,000 for the two charges.

“This case remains under investigation along with other cases at this time,” Thomas said in the release. “Ricky Faulkner is the father of Lela Faulkner, who was reported missing on July 4, 2016.
