Troy University online programs receive recognition from Intelligent.com

Several of Troy University’s online degree programs have been recognized by Intelligent.com, an online resource for program rankings and higher education planning.

Intelligent.com’s institutional rankings rank institutions on a scale from 0 to 100 across six categories: tuition costs; admission rate; retention and graduation rates; faculty; academic reputation and quality; and student resources. Intelligent.com utilized current information from the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges rankings, as well as other ranking sites, and pulled data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard, the National Center of Education Statistics’ College Navigator, College Board and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Leading the way among TROY online degree programs was the Master’s in Sports Management Degree Programs, which was ranked third nationally.  The University’s Bachelor’s in Anthropology degree program was ranked 7th nationally, while the University’s online Sports Management programs were ranked 8th collectively. The University was also ranked in the top 10 for Best Online Colleges in Alabama and Cheapest Accelerated Bachelor’s Degree Online.

• Best Online Master’s in History (28th);

• Best Online Master’s in Management (32nd);

• Best Online Master’s in Elementary Education (33rd);

• Best Online Bachelor’s in Sociology (36th); and,

• Most Affordable Online Colleges and Universities (44th).

Intelligent.com is the latest ranking to recognize TROY. Other recent rankings received by the University include U.S. News and World Report Best Regional Universities South, The Princeton Review’s Best of the Southeast, Money’s Best Colleges, G.I. Jobs magazine’s Military Friendly Schools, Military Times’ Best for Vets, and Abound’s Top 100 Online Colleges nationally, Best Colleges for Adults, and Best Colleges for Military and Veterans.
