At the Dec. 11 Troy City Schools Board of Education Meeting, the school system announced its 2023 Teachers of the Year.

The Troy Elementary School Teacher of the Year is Nikki Burkley, while Michelle Hicks was named Charles Henderson Middle School Teacher of the Year. Charles Henderson High School’s Teacher of the Year is Ashley Tate. The three teachers were presented with award certificates at the board meeting.
