Troy’s All-Sun Belt receiver Chris Lewis announced on Monday that he was planning to return to the Trojans next season.

Lewis, who transferred to Troy from Kentucky last offseason, exploding in 2023 and likely would have had the opportunity to enter the NFL Draft – or potentially enter the Transfer Portal again – but instead will be a Trojan once again in 2024, which is big news for whoever will be the next head coach at Troy.

Lewis earned All-Conference honors after tallying 32 catches for 735 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2023. His staggering 23 yards per catch is second in the NCAA and leads the Sun Belt, while ranking third in school history for a season.
