Appalachian musician and storyteller Josh Goforth will back at the Chili County Christmas event at the We Piddle Around Theater in Brundidge on December 8 and 9.

Goforth is a highly-accomplished storyteller and acoustic musician playing 20 different instruments.  He played fiddle for the movie Songcatcher, both onscreen and on the soundtrack. He has performed in all 50 states, all across Europe, Asia, and Australia.

“Josh Goforth has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, at Carnegie Hall and at the We Piddle Around Theater,” Lawrence Bowden, president of the sponsoring Brundidge Historical Society, said with a smile.

“Josh Goforth is back at our theater by popular demand. He has performed at our Christmas vent and at the Pike Piddlers Storytelling Festival.

The Chili County Christmas event at the We Piddle Around Theater will include the preshow, a chili supper with trimmings and dessert and an evening of storytelling and music by Josh Goforth. It will be a great way to begin the holiday season and will be long remembered.
