If famous Mike Amos says it’s true, it’s got to be true.

So, it’s true that there’s no singer to equal Pike County’s own Sheila Jackson. And when Jackson and her Friends come together, there’s no better musical entertainment anywhere.

“And, Shelia’s Christmas Concert each year opens the Christmas season in Pike County,” Amos said. “I look forward to it each year as I have back so many, many others,” Amos said. “Shelia and her friends have been opening the Christmas season here in Pike County in a big way for 18 years. I can’t wait until Friday night when Shelia and her friends bring Christmas to town in a big way.”

Amos said, the best he remembers, he has not missed a Sheila and Friends concert in all those many years.

“Shelia is a great singer and nobody can beat her with the ‘National Anthem,’ and she is the best of anyone and nobody can outdo her on ‘O, Holy Night.’”

Amos said it is amazing that Sheila Jackson has so many, many talented friends who are part of ushering in the Christmas season.”

“Her friends are so talented and they all come together to make Christmas special for all of us,” Amos said. “It just wouldn’t be Christmas without Sheila and Friends.”

The Shelia Jackson and Friends Christmas Concert will at 7 p.m. Friday at the Claudia Crosby Theater. Tickets are $20 and are available online at troyartscouncil.net and also at the door.
