Charles Henderson followed up its quarterfinal win in the Turkey Classic in Dothan with a 64-37 win over GW Long in the semifinals on Tuesday.

Charles Henderson took a slim 13-11 lead but Jywon Boyd and Bradley Prestwood sparked CHHS in the second quarter with six points each as the Trojans took a 29-22 lead at halftime. Charles Henderson stretched the lead to 42-30 going inot the final period. Any chance at a Long comeback was quickly snuffed out as CHHS outscored Long 22-7 in the final period to earn their spot in the Turkey Classic Finals later this afternoon.

Boyd led CHHS with 18 points, while Bradley Prestwood added 17 points. Daylon Henderson led Long with 12 points.

The winner of the Turkey Classic will earn a spot in the Downtown Dothan Hoops Classic in December.
