Holiday-opoly gives shoppers a chance to win money

Holiday shoppers have the chance to win cash by shopping with Pike County Chamber of Commerce members this season.

The Chamber is sponsoring a Holiday-Opoly contest November 1 through December 8.

“Players are encouraged to collect property cards by visiting each of the game board properties,” said Emily Aaron, vice president of the Chamber. “We’ll give away $1,200 in $200 increments each week and participants will be entered in grand prize drawing at the end for $750, sponsored by Lockheed Martin.”

To get started, shoppers should download a gameboard from the Chamber’s website at pikecoc.com/holiday-opoly.

In order to enter the weekly drawing, shoppers need to complete an entire property block, then email all five receipts to holidayopoly@pikecoc.com or bring copies to the Chamber office at 101 E. Church St. in downtown Troy.

“Be sure to include which property block you are entering to win, your name and your cell number in the email,” Aaron said.

There is no limit to the number of times shoppers can submit a completed property block.

The grand prize drawing will take place at the Chamber on Dec. 11. All receipts must be submitted by Dec. 8 at 5 p.m.
