The Pike Liberal Arts varsity volleyball team won a hard-fought game against Morgan High School with a score of 3-2 on Thursday night in Troy.

The Patriots won the first set, 25-14. The Senators took the second set with a score of 25-15. The Patriots also won the third set with a score of 25-15. The Senators took the fourth set with a score of 25-17. During the fifth set, the Patriots clinched the game with a score of 15-10.

Mikalah Griffin recorded 7 aces, 11 kills, and 2 blocks, while Grace Rushing had 5 aces, 10 kills, and 3 blocks.

Ally Rushing recorded 3 aces, 10 assists, 1 kill, and 5 digs, while Kaylee Copeland had 13 digs.

The Patriots will be in action again on Monday when they play the Lee-Scott Warriors at home in Troy.

The junior varsity Patriots also won their match with two straight set wins.
