The Pike County Board of Education approved several personnel actions at its Monday board meeting.

The board:

• Accepted the retirement resignation of Michael Benton, bus driver and custodian, Banks.
• Accepted the resignation of Daniel Powell, math teacher, Goshen High School.
• Accepted the resignation of Heather Bunn, math teacher, GHS.
• Accepted the resignation of Andrew Davis, bus driver.
• Accepted the resignation of Stacy Freeman, secretary/bookkeeper, Banks Middle School.
• Accepted the resignation of Chasity Smith, secretary/bookkeeper, Banks Primary School.
• Accepted the resignation of Alexandria McClendon, fine arts teacher, Goshen High School.
• Accepted the resignation of Phillip Quincey, social studies teacher, GHS.
• Accepted the resignation of Bradley Crenshaw, special education teacher, Pike County High School.
• Accepted the resignation of Tiffani McCulloch, math teacher, PCHS.
• Approved the request to employ Jessica Sanders, third grade teacher, Banks.
• Approved the request to employ Joshua Ritter, social studies teacher, Banks.
• Approved the request to employ Teresa Pryor, PE aide, Pike County Elementary School.
• Approved the request to employ Jessica Moran, fifth grade teacher PCES.
