Kenneth Ray Duncan born February 13, 1966, died May 7, 2020 at the age of 54. Affectionately known as Kenny Ray, Dunk, and to a select few Bryd, was a lifelong resident of Crenshaw and Pike Counties. He grew up to be a longtime brick mason. He bricked many homes and businesses in Troy and surrounding areas. Kenny Ray was a rough around the edges, good hearted family man. His nieces and nephews will tell you that he was a second father to them, and he could always be counted on. He enjoyed a good laugh, making people laugh.

Kenny Ray is preceded in death by his parents, James Athey and Bernice Owens Duncan, three siblings, Bessie Lou Frazier of Honoraville, AL, James Harold Duncan of Luverne, AL, and Alma Ruth Pruitt of Luverne AL, a brother in law Ronnie Gorman of Troy, AL, and a father in law Billy Gorman of Troy, AL.

Kenny Ray is survived by his wife of thirty -five years, Deborah Gorman Duncan of Troy, AL, his son Kenneth William (Brandi) Duncan of Troy, AL, his daughter Cherie’ (Aaron) Burr of Tory, AL, five grandchildren Abigail Burr, Harlee Burr, and Ronnie Burr of Troy, AL, Emerald Burr and Auren Burr of Banks, AL, a mother in law Marshada Gorman of Troy, AL, seven siblings Joe Ray (Brenda) Owens of Luverne, AL, Judy Fay Cartwright of Luverne, AL, Robert Mack (Renee) Duncan of Luverne, AL, Barbara Ann (Eddie Paul) Frazier of Greenville, AL, Emma Gail Duncan of Brantley, AL, Linda Jean (Bobby) Joiner of Luverne, AL, Phyllis Marie Oliver of Blakely, GA, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
