John H. Dorrill, Jr., age 90, a native of Pike County, and current resident of Montgomery and the Pronto Community – near Banks, AL, died Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 12 pm from First Baptist Church of Troy with Doctor Joe Godfrey officiating and Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Interment will be held in Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Banks, AL with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 10 pm until 12 pm in the Parlor of First Baptist Church of Troy.

He is survived by his wife: Carol Anderson Dorrill; their children: John H. Dorrill, III (Sonjua), Lee A. Dorrill (Lynn); his daugher: Rachel Dorrill Batrez; six grandchildren: Haylee, Chloe, Cameron, Collin, Clay, Anna Claire; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father: John H. Dorrill, and his mother: Robbie Lee Dorrill.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Baracca Sunday School Class and the Lydia Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church of Troy, and the Pike County Farmers Federation Board Members.
