A 15-year-old Pike County girl who went missing on Sunday has been found safe and reunited with family.

Sheriff Russell Thomas said the department worked with Dale and Houston County Sheriff’s departments to help find the missing girl.

“Her family was very concerned about her,” Thomas said. “She was missing fro about 26 hours.”

Thomas said no foul play is suspected and the girl was not in any danger.
