A traffic stop on Saturday led to the arrest of three Pike County people on charges of meth trafficking.

Brandon Ladon Arnold, 34, of Jack; Eddie Ford Paramore, 55, of Goshen; and

Angela Carol Edwards, 57, of Troy, were all charged with trafficking in methamphetamines, a Class A Felony, as well as two counts of possession of a controlled substance and second-degree possession of marijuana.

Police stopped a 2005 Ford Mustang driven by Arnold at 5:47 p.m. on Saturday for a traffic violation.

“A K-9 trained in narcotics detection indicated on the odor of narcotics at the driver’s side door of the car,” said Troy Police Chief Randall Barr. “A physical search of the car was then conducted, and officers found a large amount, over 28 grams, of a crystal-like substance that field tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine. Officers also found drug paraphernalia used to smoke illegal narcotics, digital scales, marijuana, Xanax and Oxycodone.”

All three were placed into the Pike County Jail, each on a $54,000 bond.
