Motown music review coming to Enterprise

The Masters of Soul, a Motown Music Review, is coming to the Enterprise High School Performing Arts Center on Thursday, January 16.

The performance is presented by The Coffee County Arts Alliance and Center Drugs & Health Center.

Ginny Canon, Coffee County Arts Alliance, said, In the early 1960’s. some of the most iconic names in the history of popular music were discovered in the Motor City of Detroit, Michigan, better known, simply, as Motown.

Tickets will be at a premium for this performance, Canon aid.

“Masters of Soul is a celebration of these artists, their music and style,” Canon said.

“The show features stylishly costumed fully choreographed tributes to both male and female groups backed by a live band.”

Those who grew up during the 1960s and those who just love the Motown sound will not want to miss Masters of Soul, Canon said.

The Motown Music Review will feature the big hits of The Temptations, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, the Four Tops, Diana Ross and The Supremes, The Jackson Five, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Barry White, Stevie Wonder and The Commodores.

Show time is 7 p.m.

Tickets purchased in advance are $30 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets at the door are $35 for adults and $10 for students.
