Troy University and Alabama Forestry Commission officials joined in a tree-planting at Troy University’s Janice Hawkins Cultural Arts.

“There’s never a bad day to plant a tree,” said Hal Fulmer, associate provost and dean of undergraduate and first-year studies. “This is something that students in the future will be able to enjoy for years to come.”

The ceremony was a part of the university’s commitment to maintaining a beautiful campus setting and participate in the Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree Campus USA program.
