Charles L. “Bud” Cook, 73, a resident of Almeria Community, passed away at his home Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. from Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Garnett and Rev. David Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Earles officiating and Gray Funeral Home directing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Rebecca “Becky” Cook.

He is survived by his four children, Nelson (Vickie) Cook, Laurie Lynn (Jeff) Jordan, Don (Elizabeth) Cook, Ashley Dawn (John) Gioiello; 12 grandchildren, Erin (Trent) Boutwell, Jeffrey Jordan, Chandler Cook, Carter Cook, Cole Cook, Phillip Cook, Shep Cook, Madison Berry, Conner Berry, Seth Berry, Vegas Gioiello, London Gioiello; and Blake Murphy and Skylar Kidd, who he thought of as grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason Ward, Billy Wood, Russ Jinright, Travis Roten, Donald Roten, Stanley Kidd, Conner Berry, and Blake Murphy.

The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 p.m. until service time on Friday.
